About this product
Horizon Firearms built the Vandal Carbon II for hunters who count ounces. This model is chambered in 7mm PRC and carries a 22" fluted carbon fiber barrel finished with an Iota SIM muzzle brake to soften the recoil of the magnum cartridge. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and the trigger is a TriggerTech.
An exposed carbon fiber Iota EKO X stock keeps the complete rifle near 6.06 lbs, which is light for a 7mm magnum. The 7mm PRC was designed around long, heavy bullets for shooting at distance, and the combination makes sense for open country elk and mule deer hunting where shots can stretch out. Pair it with a lightweight scope and mounts and the rifle stays easy to carry up a ridge. The look is all business, with black metal, exposed carbon and a muzzle brake, while the stock color accents set it apart from a plain black rifle.
