Howa put the Fence Line treatment on a mini action for 300 BLK and the pairing makes sense. The mini receiver is sized around short cartridges rather than being a short action asked to do the job, so nothing is wasted on bolt travel this round will never use. The muzzle comes threaded, which is how most 300 BLK rifles end up being used anyway, and the Tungsten Cerakote over the barreled action holds up to the handling that goes with a truck gun.

Underneath the camo the Howa 1500 barreled action does the work. Howa guarantees 1" or better at 100 yards, the barrel is hammer forged, and the HACT two stage trigger breaks clean enough that most owners never touch it. The bolt lifts 90 degrees on dual locking lugs with a spring loaded M16 style extractor pulling the case out. A three position safety lets you unload with the safety still engaged or lock the bolt shut for transport. The stock is fixed synthetic in Gray Light Camo, the receiver comes drilled and tapped so glass mounts without a gunsmith, and a 5 round magazine feeds it. Subsonic or supersonic, this is a quiet rifle waiting on a can.
