Heckler & Koch USP V1 40 S&W 4.25" 13rd Pistol

The USP was built for the American market, and it shows in the controls. The frame mounted control lever is a combination safety and decocking lever. On the V1 variant it sits on the left side of the frame, and the pistol has a SAFE position. This USP40 runs a DA/SA trigger and a 4.25" polygonal bore barrel that is easy to clean and long lived. It holds 13 rounds of 40 S&W, and two magazines are included.

The frame is fiber reinforced polymer with stainless steel inserts at the points that take the most stress and friction. The slide is one piece machined steel with HK's corrosion resistant Hostile Environment finish. HK's patented recoil reduction system, first proven in the Mark 23 built for US Special Operations Command, takes some of the sting out of the 40 and does not need tuning for different loads. The trigger guard is oversized for gloves, the magazine release is ambidextrous, and the slide release is extended. Universal mounting grooves take accessories. It is a proven duty pistol with a long service record.
