CZ 75 Tactical Sport Orange 40 S&W Pistol

The Tactical Sport Orange is CZ's factory built competition gun, and it is the pistol a lot of production division shooters graduate to when they stop blaming the equipment. The frame is steel, the magazine is double stack, and the trigger is single action only with the hammer riding in the same low slung CZ geometry that puts the bore closer to the shooter's hand than almost anything else on a range.

In 40 S&W it makes major power factor without drama, and the weight of a steel frame keeps the muzzle from climbing between shots. The grips are thin aluminum, which is a deliberate choice: they keep the reach to the trigger short even on a wide magazine. Sights are adjustable target units, the safety is ambidextrous, and the barrel is cold hammer forged. There is a safety stop on the hammer for carrying the gun cocked and locked between stages. Nothing here is dressed up for a display case; every part of the Tactical Sport is there because a competitor asked for it. Out of the box it is match ready, and the trigger is the piece most shooters comment on first.
