Hi-Point YC9 9mm 4.12" 10rd Pistol

The YC9 is the newer version of the Hi-Point C9, built around a 4.12" threaded barrel and a 10 round magazine. The slide gets aggressive cuts and serrations, the fully adjustable rear sight is red dot ready, and the front sight takes Glock compatible replacements, so upgrading to night sights or fiber optics is easy. A Picatinny rail on the polymer frame takes a light or laser.

The barrel is threaded 1/2-28, the standard 9mm pitch, which opens the door to compensators and suppressor mounts off the shelf. Hi-Point rates the YC9 for +P ammunition. It keeps the familiar Hi-Point controls: a quick on/off thumb safety, a magazine disconnect safety and last round lock open. At 34.2 oz the pistol has enough heft to keep recoil mild, and at 7.6" long it still fits a nightstand drawer or a range bag. Compared with the C9 it adds two rounds, an optic path and a threaded muzzle, which makes it the better pick for someone who wants to add gear to the gun over time.
