Hi-Point C9 9mm 3.5" 8rd Pistol

The C9 is the pistol most people picture when they hear the Hi-Point name: a compact 9mm with a 3.5" barrel, an 8 round magazine and a high impact polymer frame. The steel slide has a black powder coat and rear serrations, and the 3 dot sights include a fully adjustable rear, which is rare at this end of the market.

Hi-Point rates the C9 for +P ammunition. A quick on/off thumb safety, a magazine disconnect safety and last round lock open make up the controls, and new shooters pick them up in a few minutes. At 29 oz it is heavier than most compact 9mm pistols, and the extra weight takes the snap out of recoil. Overall length is 6.75", small enough for a nightstand drawer or a range bag. The grips are high impact polymer with an easy grip finish. For a simple 9mm to keep at home or to learn the basics of pistol shooting at the range, the C9 does the job without asking for much.
