Heritage 92 45 Colt 18" 8rd Stainless Rifle

This Heritage 92 puts 45 Colt in a compact, corrosion resistant package. The 18" round barrel and the receiver are polished stainless steel, the stock and forend are hardwood, and the tube magazine holds 8 rounds. Overall length is about 35.2 inches, so it handles quickly in brush and fits behind a truck seat.

Sights are a drift adjustable front and an adjustable buckhorn rear, and the receiver carries a thumb safety. At roughly 5.8 pounds it is light enough to carry all day. 45 Colt from a rifle barrel hits with real authority at the ranges most deer and hogs are taken in timber, and it pairs naturally with a single action revolver in the same chambering. Stainless steel resists rust from rain and sweat far better than blued steel, which makes this a sensible choice for a ranch gun, a camp rifle, or a cowboy action rifle that sees hard use season after season.
