Heritage 92 357 Mag 24" 12rd Stainless Octagon Rifle

This is the long rifle version of the Heritage 92, built for shooters who like the look of a traditional octagon barrel. The 24" barrel and the receiver are stainless steel with a polished finish, and the hardwood stock and forend add contrast. Chambered in 357 Magnum, it also shoots 38 Special, and the full length tube magazine holds 12 rounds.

The longer barrel adds sight radius and squeezes extra speed out of 357 loads, while the octagon profile puts a bit more weight up front for steady offhand shooting. Sights are a drift adjustable front and an adjustable buckhorn rear, with a thumb safety on the receiver. Overall length is about 42.8 inches and weight runs around 7.4 pounds. Stainless holds up better than blued steel to rain, sweat and humid gun safes. It's a great fit for cowboy action shooters who want maximum capacity, for plinking with 38 Special, and for deer hunting at sensible lever gun distances.
