Henry H1 Sporter Carbine 22 WMR 16.5" 10rd Rifle

Same idea as the full length H1 Sporter, two inches shorter. The carbine runs a 16.5" round blued barrel threaded 1/2-28, holds 10 rounds of 22 WMR, and skips iron sights entirely in favor of a Picatinny rail cut into the black aluminum receiver. That makes it one of the handier rimfire lever guns you can put a scope on.

American walnut furniture keeps the classic look, and the checkered pistol grip with a Monte Carlo comb is shaped for glass rather than irons. Length of pull measures 14". The action is the traditional Henry lever cycle, short and smooth, with a quarter cock safety on the hammer. Weight sits at 5.35 lbs, so it rides well in a truck or on a long walk through the woods, and 22 WMR carries enough energy for small predators out past the point where 22 LR runs out of steam. Threads at the muzzle mean a can or a brake goes on without a trip to a gunsmith, which is exactly how a lot of people want to shoot rimfire now.
