Guntec USA AR-15 5.56 Micro Slip Over Barrel Shroud with Multi Port Muzzle Brake

Two parts in one: the body slips over the end of the barrel and the threads pick up 1/2-28 from inside the shroud, so the muzzle end of a short barrel gets covered while the ports up front do the work of a brake. The multi port layout vents gas out to the sides in a ring, which is where the gatling gun look comes from.

The body is aluminum with an anodized black finish, so it adds very little weight out at the muzzle where weight is felt the most. Nothing about it needs timing. There is no crush washer to index and no shim stack to sort out, it just threads on and hand tightens. Fits 1/2-28 threaded AR-15 barrels in 223 and 5.56.
