Guntec USA AR-15 Mini Slip Over Barrel Shroud 1/2-28 Muzzle Brake

Guntec's Mini Slip Over does two jobs with one part. It threads onto a 1/2-28 muzzle and slides back over roughly 1.375 inches of barrel, so a short AR-15 barrel picks up a heavier profile look at the front. The business end is a multi port brake that vents gas out in a ring around the bore and takes a real bite out of felt recoil.

At 2.375 inches long and 2.9 ounces it adds almost nothing to the balance of the rifle. Machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish. Worth being clear about what it is: the shroud slips over the barrel rather than extending it, so the barrel keeps whatever length it already had.
