Ruger's radial port brake cuts felt recoil and muzzle rise on 223 Rem and 5.56 NATO rifles. It fits the AR-556 and any other 223/5.56 firearm with 1/2-28 muzzle threads.
Because the ports run all the way around, the brake needs no timing, so there is no crush washer or jam nut. Thread it on and torque to 15 to 20 ft-lbs with an 11/16" wrench. Alloy steel with a black oxide finish, 1.75" long and .75" in diameter.
