Griffin Armament MK2 Recce 223 Wylde 16.1" 30rd FDE Rifle

The Griffin Armament MK2 Recce takes the MK1 carbine and rebuilds its foundation, the lower receiver. Griffin's forged MK2 lower is fully ambidextrous, with mirrored magazine release, bolt release and catch, and safety selector, plus the SN-ACH Gen 2 ambidextrous charging handle. It also has a 60 degree flared magazine well and an integrated trigger guard. This one wears Terra Brown (FDE) anodized receivers and comes with one USGI D&H Industries 30 round magazine.

The 16.1" barrel is 416R stainless with a 223 Wylde chamber for 5.56 NATO and 223 Remington, and it carries the Griffin Silencer Mount Muzzle Device. Griffin ran one of these barrels to 47,000 rounds, all suppressed, before lug wear retired it. Gas is a tuned mid length system with a pinned standard profile gas tube and Primo gas block, matched to the Griffin AR-SOB suppressor optimized buffer and buffer spring so the rifle runs soft with a can or without. The Low Pro Rail handguard has M-LOK slots and a four piece RailShield panel kit, and the receivers carry a Picatinny top rail. Furniture is the A3 grip and the ECS Extreme Condition Stock on a Maritime receiver extension with a Contour Connect QD end plate. Weight is 6.14 lbs.
