Griffin Armament MK2 Recce 223 Wylde 16" Rifle

The Griffin Armament MK2 Recce is a 16" 223 Wylde carbine on Griffin's fully ambidextrous MK2 lower. The magazine release, bolt release and catch, safety selector and SN-ACH charging handle are all mirrored, so it runs the same from either shoulder. The lower adds a 60 degree flared magazine well and an integrated trigger guard, and the whole lower is held to tighter than mil spec tolerances. The 223 Wylde chamber shoots 5.56 NATO and 223 Remington.

Griffin builds its rifles to live with a suppressor. The 416R stainless HEDP barrel wears the Griffin Silencer Mount Muzzle Device, and the tuned mid length gas system with a pinned Primo gas block is matched to the Griffin AR-SOB suppressor optimized buffer, so the rifle stays soft and reliable with or without a can. Griffin has run one of these barrels to 47,000 suppressed rounds with the rifling still intact. The Low Pro Rail handguard comes with a four piece RailShield panel kit. The forged hardcoat anodized upper and lower, Enhanced BCG, A3 grip, ECS Extreme Condition Stock, Maritime receiver extension, Contour Connect QD end plate and dimpled takedown pins round out the build. It weighs 6 lbs 14 oz with a collapsed length of 33".
