Glock V-Series 45 9mm 3.7" 17rd Vortex Defender Optic Pistol

This is a V-Series build of the Glock 45 in 9mm Luger, finished in black Cerakote with an optic ready slide cut to an RMR footprint. A Vortex Defender enclosed optic comes mounted in that cut, so there is no plate stack to work out and no milling job to wait on before the pistol gets used. The enclosed emitter design matters more than it sounds like it should on a carry or duty gun, because the window stays clear of the rain, lint and brass shavings that find their way into an open emitter sight.

The V series retains the features of the Gen5 models, and this one is built on the Model 45. Three 17 round magazines come with the pistol and barrel length is listed at 3.7", which is what the distributor row states for this SKU. Holsters cut for a mounted optic are worth checking against the Defender before committing to leather or kydex, because the sight body changes the shape of the gun above the slide. The custom work on this one is cosmetic and functional at the same time: the Cerakote covers the pistol, the RMR cut takes the milling step off the table, and the optic arrives as part of the package instead of as a separate purchase and a separate wait.
