Glock 45 V-Series 9mm 17rd Ported RMR Cut Pistol

The Model 45 pairs a full length Glock 17 frame with the shorter Model 19 slide. You get a complete firing grip and 17 rounds with less weight hanging out past the trigger guard, which is why it turned into a common duty and range choice almost immediately. This is the V series build, so the Gen5 exterior features carry over, an ambidextrous slide stop, a flared magwell, and a front strap without finger grooves, while the internals are the newer V series design. Those internal parts do not interchange with earlier Glock generations.

The custom work here is a ported slide and barrel with an RMR pattern optic cut, all finished in black Cerakote. Porting vents gas out the top of the barrel and slide to keep the muzzle down through recoil, and the optic cut takes an RMR footprint red dot without an adapter plate stacking it higher. Three 17rd magazines come with the pistol. Between the ported barrel, the optic cut slide, and the Model 17 sized grip frame, this is set up as a shooter's gun rather than a safe queen. Everything that wears out or gets replaced is still standard Glock, so magazines, sights, and holsters are easy to find.
