Glock 45 V-Series 9mm 17rd FDE Ported RMR Cut Pistol

Glock's Model 45 takes the full size Model 17 frame and mates it to the shorter Model 19 slide. The result is a pistol with a complete firing grip, 17 round magazines, and less weight past the trigger guard, which makes it quicker to bring on target than a full length slide gun. This example is built on the V series platform, keeping the Gen5 controls, an ambidextrous slide stop, a flared magwell, and a front strap without finger grooves, while running a redesigned internal group. Those V series internals are not backward compatible with older Glock parts.

What makes this one different is the shop work. The slide and barrel are ported to vent gas upward and flatten the muzzle, the slide is cut for an RMR footprint optic, and the whole pistol wears a flat dark earth Cerakote finish instead of the usual black. Three 17rd magazines come in the case. FDE reads well in daylight and hides holster wear far better than black does, which matters on a gun that gets carried and drawn. Everything that touches the pistol, holsters, magazines, sights, follows standard Glock patterns, so kitting it out is not a scavenger hunt.
