About the Faxon Twenty-Toucan 22 Cal
The Faxon Twenty-Toucan is a 22 caliber can that is more than a rimfire can. It is machined from stainless steel with a black nitride finish and Faxon rates it for full auto fire on 22 LR, 22 Mag and 5.7x28mm, with a 5" minimum barrel. There are no semi auto barrel length restrictions. The Bill Hicks listing also lists 17 HMR in the rated caliber set.
One serialized can runs in two lengths. Short mode drops it to 3.87 inches and 5.1 ounces for pistols or for keeping a carbine handy; full mode stretches it out for the most sound reduction. Six baffles come in the box, three standard and three perforated, and swapping them changes tone, flash and back pressure so you can tune the can to the host instead of living with whatever it came with. It is fully user serviceable, which matters on any can that eats rimfire.
