Faxon Firearms FX7 Hunter 6.5 Creedmoor 22" 5rd ODG Rifle

The Faxon FX7 Hunter is a complete bolt action rifle built on Faxon's FX7 short action and chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It wears a 22" Medium Sporter barrel in black nitride with a 1:8 twist and 5/8-24 muzzle threads, set in an OD Green polymer stock. It holds 5 rounds and feeds from AICS and AW pattern magazines, a step up from the hinged floorplates on most factory hunting rifles.

The FX7 action is what sets it apart. The six lug bolt locks up in two rings of three and needs only a 70 degree lift, so the bolt handle clears a large scope and cycles quickly from the shoulder. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail and the recoil lug are machined into the receiver, so there are no bases to install or loosen. The action follows the Remington 700 short action footprint, which leaves room to upgrade later with any Remington 700 pattern trigger, stock or chassis. With threads already cut for a brake or suppressor mount, it is ready for a can on a deer or hog hunt and still light enough to carry all day.
