Rossi LWC 6.5 Creedmoor 16.5" Rifle

The Rossi LWC (Lightweight Carbine) in 6.5 Creedmoor packs a serious long range hunting cartridge into a light, break action single shot rifle. The 16.5" barrel keeps the gun short and quick to carry, and the muzzle is threaded for a suppressor or a brake. With one round in the chamber, this is a rifle that rewards careful shot placement, which is exactly how a lot of hunters like to learn.

There are no iron sights. The Picatinny rail on the receiver is meant for a scope, and a 6.5 Creedmoor this size wears a compact hunting scope well. The frame is steel with a polymer overmold, the stock is black synthetic, and the rifle weighs about 5.24 lbs before glass. A crossbolt safety and a transfer bar are part of the design. Open the action, load, close it, cock the hammer and fire. It makes a light deer rifle, a backup gun for a hunting camp, or a low cost way to try the 6.5 Creedmoor.
