Faxon Firearms Sentry-X AR-15 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Rifle

The Faxon Sentry-X is the X model of Faxon's Sentry AR-15, part of the Summit line. It runs a 16" barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO, which also fires 223 Rem, with a black nitride finish and a Faxon MuzzLok muzzle device on the end. A 15" M-LOK handguard gives plenty of room for a light, laser or bipod and a long reach for the support hand.

What makes it the X model is the furniture and controls. The forged X-Tra Lite receiver set has a tensioning screw to take out wobble between upper and lower. The charging handle and safety selector are both ambidextrous. The trigger is a Faxon unit built by Rise Armament, the stock is a B5 Bravo and the grip is a B5 Type 23. The rifle weighs 5.63 lbs empty, light for a 16" carbine with a 15" rail, and it takes standard AR-15 magazines with a 30 round capacity. It is set up for training, range days and home defense.
