About the EOTech DCBL 5.56mm HUB
The DCBL 556 is EOTech's answer to the gas that comes back at the shooter on a suppressed AR. Their Vent Forward design bleeds pressure forward instead of letting it stack up behind the bullet, which cuts blowback, slows carbon buildup and keeps bolt speed closer to where the rifle was set up to run. The body is monolithic titanium with a Cerakote finish, so it takes heat cycling and hard use without much fuss.
Measured with the hub and flash hider fitted it runs 7.9 inches and 19.6 ounces; the bare suppressor body is 7.1 inches and 13.7 ounces. Diameter is 1.75 inches. EOTech lists a 10.3 inch minimum barrel length and does not rate this can for full auto fire, so it belongs on a semi auto carbine or a bolt gun rather than a belt fed.
