About the Dead Air CT5P Patrol
The CT5P Patrol was built for police rifles rather than range guns. Dead Air's stated goals were reducing hearing loss risk, cutting muzzle concussion in confined spaces and keeping an officer's duty carbine running the way it was set up to run. It is their first gas regulated, low backpressure can with the compact Triskelion baffle stack, and it draws on what the Lazarus 6 and Sandman X taught them.
Dropping the hub interface is what makes it short. At 5.49 inches the CT5P keeps the profile tight and the point of impact shift minimal, and the Gas Management System keeps bolt velocity close to unsuppressed on both direct impingement and piston guns. It covers 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC. This one comes with the fixed Xeno adapter for 1/2-28 threads, in black.
