Girsan MC1911 Commander Carry 10mm 4.4" 9rd Pistol

The Girsan MC1911 Commander Carry brings 10mm to a Commander size 1911 with a 4.4" barrel and a 9 round magazine. The steel frame and blued slide handle the recoil of a stout 10mm load while staying short enough to carry on the belt.

The sight setup is a fiber optic front with a fully adjustable rear. An integral Picatinny rail sits under the dust cover for a weapon light, and the extended beavertail keeps the hammer off the web of the hand. Deep slide serrations help when racking with sweaty or gloved hands, and the ambidextrous safety works for either hand. The single action trigger is crisp and short. Girsan pitched this model for shooters who want 10mm power in a gun that fits where they normally carry, from bear country to everyday use. The black grips are textured for a solid hold under recoil. It is a straightforward all steel 10mm 1911 with the upgrades that matter and nothing that gets in the way, and it has the weight to stay planted through a full magazine.
