Girsan MC1911 Commander 10mm 4.4" 9rd Compensated Pistol

The Girsan MC1911 Commander with compensator is a 10mm 1911 built to shoot flatter. The 4.4" barrel ends in a compensator that vents gas to cut muzzle rise, which helps a lot with full power 10mm loads. The magazine holds 9 rounds, and the steel frame and slide bring the weight to about 40.8 oz, which also helps soak up recoil.

Sights are a fiber optic front with a fully adjustable rear, so you can zero for your load and still pick up the front post quickly. The frame has an integral Picatinny rail for a light, and the extended beavertail, ambidextrous safety and deep slide serrations make it easy to run. The single action trigger is crisp. Girsan built the MC1911 C to carry 10mm power in a smaller package than a Government model, whether it rides on a hip in bear country or goes to the range for steel. The compensator makes the 10mm easier to control for quick follow up shots, and the checkered grips give a firm hold when your hands are wet.
