Dickinson Adam 1911 Acoustic 45 ACP 5" 8rd Pistol

The Adam 1911 Acoustic is a full size 45 ACP built around a 5" gold finished barrel set into a shiny black steel slide and frame. The slide is CNC machined and cut with B pattern serrations, the frame carries a beavertail at the tang, and the magazine holds 8 rounds.

The gold barrel is the whole point of the configuration. Against the high polish black of the slide and frame it shows at the muzzle and through the ejection port, which is the only place most people ever see a 1911 barrel. Underneath the finish work the construction is the same as the rest of the Adam line: forged steel frame, forged steel barrel, slide machined to match. The polished black surfaces show handling more readily than a bead blast or a matte finish, so this is a gun that rewards a wipe down after a range trip. The beavertail, the 5" barrel and the single action trigger keep it a working full size 1911 underneath the dress finish.
