Diamondback DB15 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Green/Gold Rifle

This DB15 is a Sports South exclusive run, and the finish work is the reason to look at it. The receiver set wears green Cerakote with gold plated accents, and the 16" barrel is coated in gold Cerakote to match. Underneath the paint it is a straightforward AR-15 in 5.56 NATO: aluminum receivers, a flat top picatinny rail and an M-LOK handguard with anti slip texture pads on the rail sections. Diamondback finishes it with an A2 flash hider at the muzzle.

Furniture is Magpul MOE, both the collapsible stock and the pistol grip, which is a sensible place to put the money since the MOE line has been the default upgrade on entry AR builds for over a decade. The rifle comes with a 30 round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 and a Savior case, so nothing else is needed to get it to the range. A 16" barrel in 5.56 NATO remains the most useful general purpose AR configuration going, handy enough for a truck and long enough to keep the velocity that makes the cartridge work. This one just happens to look nothing like the other black carbines on the rack.
