Colt, Python Shooters Model, .357 Magnum, 5 inch, 6 Round, Matte Blued

The Colt Python 357mag 5 Matte Blk Shooter's Model is a classic Smith & Wesson rival reborn for the modern shooter, offered 100% new in the box with a potential slight finish imperfection from manufacturing that is typically only visible to a trained eye and is not covered by Colt's one-year warranty; built on a forged carbon steel frame with a rugged matte blued finish, this 5" barreled revolver delivers day-after-day durability for range sessions, competition stages, and medium-game hunting. The one-piece carbon steel barrel with ventilated rib, 30% more steel beneath the rear sight and a recessed crown produces a stiffer sight plane and consistent accuracy while the 1:14 LH 6-groove rifling stabilizes standard 357 Magnum and 38 Special loads; the fluted 6-round cylinder and 43 oz unloaded weight keep recoil manageable for follow-up shots, and the Hogue OverMolded rubber grips tame muzzle flip during heavy loads. A leaf spring action yields a non-stacking, smooth-as-glass trigger feel in both double and single-action modes, with a quoted double-action pull around 7—9.5 lbs, tritium night front sight and fully adjustable rear sight for low-light and precision work, 10.5" overall length and 1.55" width for comfortable carry in a duty or field rig, and note that FFL transfer is required for purchase; ideal as a versatile .357 Mag revolver for hunters, serious range shooters, and revolver enthusiasts seeking reliable America-made performance.
