Colt 1911 Competition Pistol 38 Super 5 Inch 9+1 Stainless

The Colt 1911 Competition Pistol is a stainless-steel, competition-ready Government model from Colt's Competition Series that brings Series 70 firing system consistency, a 5-inch 1:14 LH 6-groove National Match barrel and Novak red fiber optic front with adjustable Novak rear sight to the range for shooters chasing tight groups and faster splits against the timer; the brushed stainless slide and frame, serrated slide, polished match-grade barrel and 36 oz weight give stable sighting and recoil characteristics while the Dual Spring Recoil System reduces felt recoil and extends spring life so reloads and follow-up shots stay on target. With a single-action, hammer-fired trigger sitting in an undercut trigger guard and a 3-hole aluminum trigger tuned to about 4.5—6 lbs, plus upswept beavertail grip safety and extended thumb safety, the Colt keeps the pistol low in the hand for superior control during rapid fire and positional drills. Checkered blue G10 grips, locked breech operation and a 9+1 capacity in .38 Super make this model ideal for practical competition, action shooting and high-performance range work; note this firearm requires FFL transfer.
