About the Kimber 1911 DS Warrior
The 38 Super version of the 1911 DS Warrior holds 20 rounds in the magazine, a number no single stack 1911 will ever reach. The double stack frame is black stainless steel with a beavertail grip safety and a Picatinny rail cut into the dust cover, and each pistol is hand fitted at the factory. The 5" matte stainless barrel is crowned, and the KimPro coated slide is serrated and carries an optic cut hidden under a TAG cover plate that holds the fixed rear sight.
38 Super has been a competition favorite for decades because it runs flat and fast, and this build leans into that with a Match Grade trigger and an ambidextrous thumb safety that works for either hand. A tritium front sight covers low light work. The grip panel is a carbon fiber and glass filled composite that adds almost nothing to the weight of the frame while still giving the hand something to hold onto. A C&H optic mount for the RMR footprint comes in the box, so mounting a dot takes minutes rather than a trip to a gunsmith. Two magazines are included, one 20 round and one 17 round.
