The CK Scrambler was designed out of a need to have a lightweight and compact silencer optimized for 11.5-12.5 duty/patrol rifles that will be placed through a rigorous tour of duty. The Scrambler is a Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L.P.B.F.) additive manufactured (3D printed) silencer made specifically for use on carbines and gas operated precision rifles. Constructed using CGS Groups Variable Core Diameter technology paired with advanced flow routing and Vent To Atmosphere external flash tines to release gas to atmosphere faster without sacrificing sound and flash reduction. The Scrambler ensures the shooter won't be out-gassed from blowback and the firearm operating system won't be over-driven from excessive back pressure (which leads to premature gas port erosion on barrels and unduly wear on internal components). The L.P.B.F. process and subsequent heat treatments create a silencer core stronger than traditional forged billet cast MIM and sintered parts. Additive Manufacturing ensures the silencer is free from welds which can cause failures warping and other issues along the length of other silencers and creates a concentric silencer core inside and out.
