Cimarron, Trapdoor Carbine, 45-70 Government, 22 in, Single Shot, Blued Walnut

The Cimarron Trapdoor Carbine is a faithful reproduction of the classic Trapdoor Carbine series from Cimarron Firearms, chambered in the hard-hitting .45-70 Government with a 22?inch blued round barrel and a 1:18" rate of twist that delivers reliable accuracy for hunting and target work; its single-shot falling block action and case hardened steel frame speak to the original cavalry lineage while offering modern craftsmanship that collectors and reenactors will appreciate. The oiled satin walnut stock and blued metal lend that museum-quality look and comfortable handling for field days or living history events, and the simple single-shot mechanism encourages deliberate shot placement for medium to large game, long-range paper punching, or black powder demonstration shoots. At 46.5 inches overall and about 7.1 pounds, the carbine balances maneuverability and shooting stability, and fitted sights provide practical aiming without the need for optics, though the slim profile and straight-line stock accommodate custom sighting if desired. Whether you collect historical rifles, participate in reenactments, or hunt with a classic single-shot, the Cimarron Trapdoor Carbine model offers authenticity, durability, and the satisfaction of shooting a piece of Americana.
