Cimarron From Down Under II 45-70 Government 34in 1 round Case Hardened Wood

The Cimarron From Down Under II Rifle in 45-70 Gov is a faithful reproduction of the movie Sharps made famous in Quigley Down Under, offering shooters a heavyweight, single-shot falling block rifle that performs as well as it looks; chambered for .45-70 Government with a 34" octagon barrel and 1:18" twist, this right-hand, 1-round capacity gun carries the long-range pedigree of an 1870s buffalo rifle while modern metallurgy allows use with original black powder cartridge loads or contemporary smokeless loads for serious range work or guided hunts. The checkered walnut stock with pewter-tipped forearm and color case hardened butt plate, receiver, hammer and lever deliver the cinematic appearance, while the Model 1859 patch box, double-set triggers and stainless steel receiver speak to reliable function and controlled trigger breaks for distance shooting and silhouette or bucket-style long-range contests. Sights include a German silver blade front and Lawrence-style folding leaf rear for fine sighting out to extended ranges, and the 50.5" overall length and roughly 15 lb heft provide the balance and stability shooters expect from classic reproductions. Made in Italy and requiring FFL transfer, the From Down Under II is a collectible, hunt-capable long-range rifle that blends historical authenticity with practical, modern performance.
