Cimarron Arizona Ranger 357 Mag 5.5" 6rd Revolver

Cimarron calls the Arizona Ranger the most competition ready model in its line of peacemaker style revolvers. It starts with a pre war frame and standard hammer, then gets an action job from Cimarron's own gunsmiths using their competition hammer and trigger/bolt springs. Those springs are lighter and smoother, and the trigger breaks crisp with no creep, with improved internal parts added for reliability.

The sights are where it differs most from a standard single action: a wide square notch rear paired with a wide, constant width front blade that is far easier to pick up on a fast stage. Slim checkered walnut grips give a firmer, more consistent hold. The 5.5" barrel is blued and roll engraved Arizona Ranger, the cylinder is blued and the steel frame is color case hardened. Chambered in 357 Magnum, it also fires 38 Special, the usual choice for cowboy action loads, and the cylinder holds 6 rounds. Weight is about 40 oz. It gives SASS shooters a match ready gun without the wait of sending one off for tuning.
