About this product
The Century Arms AP5-SD brings the look of the integrally suppressed MP5SD to a semi auto 9mm pistol. It uses a roller lock delayed blowback action and a cold hammer forged 5.75 inch barrel threaded 1/2-28 with a 3 lug adapter. The iconic shrouded SD handguard and a removable faux suppressor give it the SD profile, and pulling the faux can leaves the barrel ready for a real suppressor.
This model adds a Magpul MP BSL brace. Overall length runs 24.75 to 30 inches depending on brace position and the pistol weighs 6.66 lbs unloaded. It has a Navy style grip with an ambidextrous selector, a fixed front sight with a fully adjustable rear, and a claw mounted 1913 Picatinny rail for an optic. It comes with two 30 round AP5 style magazines, and the package also includes a sling, cleaning kit and hard case. For anyone who grew up watching the MP5SD in movies, this is about as close as a civilian gets without NFA paperwork, and it is ready for a can when you are.
