Canik METE MC9 Prime 9mm 3.64" 17rd FDE MeCanik MO1 Pistol

Canik keeps taking the things shooters add after purchase and building them into the gun. The METE MC9 Prime is the clearest example yet: a micro compact 9mm with a compensator machined into the slide and barrel, Night Fision tritium sights, a flat face trigger, and a MeCanik MO1 micro red dot already mounted. The 3.64" barrel and 17rd magazine put it right at the size where a carry gun stops feeling like a compromise.

The compensator is the part that changes how it shoots. Micro compacts recoil hard because so little mass is moving, and venting gas up front pulls the muzzle back down faster than a shooter can. Follow up shots land closer together, which is the whole argument for the Prime over a standard MC9. This version pairs a flat dark earth polymer frame with a black nitride slide, and the frame carries a beavertail, an accessory rail, and interchangeable backstraps for different hand sizes. Two magazines and a hard case come with it.
