Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max LR 308 Win 22" 4rd Rifle

The X-Bolt 2 Special Max LR is set up for long shots, whether the target is a steel plate or a pronghorn across a basin. It is chambered in 308 Win and built around a 22 inch heavy sporter barrel in matte stainless steel, threaded 5/8-24 at the muzzle so a suppressor or brake goes on easily. A thread protector comes on the rifle. The heavier contour stays steady as it heats up, and the shorter length keeps the overall package manageable with a can attached.

The black Max composite stock has a vertical grip and a height adjustable comb, so you can line your eye up behind a tall scope without stacking cheek risers. Three swivel studs make room for a sling and a bipod together. Browning fits the adjustable DLX Target trigger here, a three lever design with no creep or overtravel, and an extended bolt handle that takes less effort to lift. The receiver adds bolt guidance surface for smooth cycling, cartridges feed from a standard detachable rotary magazine holding 4 rounds, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for the X-Lock scope bases. An Inflex recoil pad finishes the stock.
