Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Special 308 Win 22" 4rd ODG Rifle

This X-Bolt 2 Composite Special SPR puts a 308 Winchester short action in an OD Green composite stock. The stock is the part you will fuss with first, because both the comb and the length of pull adjust. That means you can line your eye up behind a tall scope and set the reach for your own build without stacking aftermarket spacers. Textured grip panels hold on when your hands are wet or cold, and an Inflex recoil pad handles the shoulder end.

Up front is a 22" matte blued sporter contour barrel threaded 5/8-24 for a suppressor or brake, with a thread protector in place for when you run it bare. The metal is matte blued, not coated green. Only the stock carries the color. You get a top tang safety, a detachable rotary magazine holding four rounds, an adjustable trigger and the X-Lock scope mounting system. Sling swivel studs are already on the gun. 308 Win is an easy cartridge to feed and an easy one to shoot, and at about 6.6 pounds this rifle is light enough to carry all day after whitetail, mule deer, black bear or hogs.
