Seven Glocks landed this week

Seven Glock pistols went live and in stock in the last two weeks. Six of them are V-Series guns, Glock's line that ships with a factory-fitted optic or a ported barrel, and the seventh is the plain 43X with a rail. Every one is 9mm, and every one ships to the licensed dealer (FFL) you choose for pickup. Here is what arrived, grouped by what's on top of the slide.

V-Series with the Vortex Defender optic

Three models come with a Vortex Defender red dot already mounted. If you want a dot-ready Glock without buying the optic and plate separately, this is the shortcut.

Glock V-Series 17 with Vortex Defender

The V-Series 17 is the full-size gun: 4.5-inch barrel, 17-round magazine. It's the duty and home-defense size, and the longest sight radius of the batch if you ever shoot it with the irons.

Glock V-Series 19 with Vortex Defender

The V-Series 19 is the compact: 4.02-inch barrel, 15-round magazine. This is the size most people pick when one gun has to carry and sit on the nightstand.

Glock V-Series 45 with Vortex Defender

The V-Series 45 pairs a 3.7-inch barrel with a 17-round magazine, so you get a shorter slide on a full-size grip. Shooters who like a full grip and a compact slide for holster clearance tend to land here.

V-Series with the Viridian RFX35 optic

Two of the same frames come with a Viridian RFX35 red dot instead. Same gun sizes, different optic.

Full-size again: the V-Series 17 with the RFX35 has the 4.5-inch barrel and 17-round magazine.

The V-Series 45 with the RFX35 is the 3.7-inch barrel, 17-round version.

V-Series 19 FDE Ported

The odd one out is the V-Series 19 FDE Ported. No optic in the box. Instead you get a ported barrel on the 4-inch compact frame with a 15-round magazine, in Flat Dark Earth. If you already own a red dot you like, or you shoot irons, this is the V-Series 19 to look at.

Glock 43X with rail

The Glock 43X Rail is the carry-size gun of the group, with a 3.41-inch barrel and an accessory rail for a light. The listed capacity is 15 rounds. It's the one in this batch most buyers pick for everyday carry.

Before you order

All seven ship to an FFL, not to your door. If this is your first online gun purchase, read how it works and check state restrictions, since magazine capacity rules vary by state. Spare mags for these models are in the Glock magazine section. Prices are live on each product page.
