Glock V-Series 17 9mm 4.5" 17rd Vortex Defender Optic Pistol

Full size is the whole point of the Model 17, and the V-Series version keeps it that way: a 4.5" barrel, a 17 round magazine and a grip long enough that every finger has a place to go. The slide is cut for an RMR footprint and a Vortex Defender enclosed optic comes mounted in it, and the pistol is finished in black Cerakote from the muzzle to the backplate.

Three 17 round magazines come with the gun. The V series holds on to the Gen5 changes that mattered, the ambidextrous slide stop, the flared magwell and the smooth front strap with no finger grooves, and layers an internal redesign on top of them for safety and function. There is one compatibility note that catches people out: V-series parts do not cross over to older Glock models, so older slides, barrels and internal parts from a Gen3 or Gen4 gun stay in the parts bin. A longer slide and a full length grip are why the 17 size still does duty work and nightstand work in equal measure, with an enclosed optic already sitting on top and a full 17 rounds underneath it.
