Bergara Premier MgLite 7mm PRC 22" 5rd Rifle

The Bergara Premier MgLite is a packable long range hunting rifle built around two lightweight parts: the XLR Element magnesium chassis with a folding stock and Bergara's CURE carbon barrel. This one is chambered in 7mm PRC, a modern long action cartridge that pushes heavy, high BC bullets fast enough for elk and mule deer at real distance. The 22" CURE barrel has a 1:8 twist and comes with the Omni muzzle brake installed to tame magnum recoil in a rifle this light.

Under the chassis is the Premier action with a non rotating gas shield, a coned bolt nose and a sliding plate extractor. The trigger is a TriggerTech with Frictionless Release, paired with a two position safety. It feeds from an AICS style detachable magazine, and one 5 round magazine is included. Overall length is 43" and the rifle weighs about 6.7 lbs before glass, so it carries easily on long climbs. The folding stock shortens it for a pack or a truck seat. If you want a rifle that can reach out without breaking your back on the way in, the MgLite is built for exactly that job.
