About the Bergara B-14 HMR 308
The Bergara B-14 HMR is a Hunting and Match Rifle that a lot of shooters buy as their first serious bolt gun and keep for good. This one is chambered in 308 Win with a 20" No. 6 taper barrel, a 1:10 twist and a Graphite Black Cerakote finish. The 20" length keeps it quick in the woods while still giving plenty of velocity for deer, hogs and targets out to several hundred yards. The muzzle is precision threaded 5/8-24 and includes a knurled thread protector, so it is ready for a brake or suppressor.
Bergara molds a full length mini chassis into the HMR stock. That gives the action repeatable bedding and supports a free floated barrel, which is a big part of why these rifles shoot. The stock adjusts for cheek height and length of pull, and it has integrated QD flush cups plus swivel studs, in a black speckled brown finish. The two lug B-14 action feeds smoothly with its coned bolt nose, and the Bergara curved trigger is crisp. One 5 round AICS style detachable magazine is included. It weighs about 9.5 lbs and fits Remington 700 style rings and bases.
