About this product
The Banish Speed K is a short 5.56 suppressor developed with Federal Ammunition and law enforcement for close quarters work. At 4 inches long it keeps a short barreled rifle handy in tight spaces. The whole can is Inconel and rated for full auto, and Banish says it passed seven rounds of SOCOM testing, each one 1,440 rounds.
Clipped wall baffles, a finned blast chamber and a vented fourth baffle keep blowback low, about 5.8 percent over unsuppressed according to Banish, so most rifles run it without changes. It comes with a 1/2-28 direct thread mount, and the 1.375x24 HUB base takes a separate QD mount. Weight is 14.1 ounces and Banish rates it for 223 Rem and 5.56 NATO.
