Balikli BLK 308 Win 20" 5rd Walnut Rifle

The Balikli BLK is a bolt action rifle built on a 700 pattern action, which is the most copied rifle action in the world for good reason. Triggers, stocks, scope bases, and gunsmith work all exist in quantity for that footprint, so the rifle can be changed later without hunting for parts. This one is chambered in 308 Winchester with a 20" barrel and a 5 round detachable magazine.

What separates the BLK from the usual 700 clone is the wood. The stock is Turkish walnut rather than injection molded polymer, which gives the rifle the look of an older hunting gun with modern parts underneath. The barrel is spiral fluted and threaded at the muzzle. The bolt body is fluted to match. A Picatinny rail comes installed on the receiver, so scope mounting is one less decision to make. A 20" barrel in 308 is short enough to handle well in timber and long enough to keep the cartridge working at any distance a 308 shooter should be taking a shot. The trigger is an upgrade over the plain unit these actions usually carry.
