Same idea as the higher resolution model, at a lighter sensor count. The 35CL-400 clamps in front of a day riflescope and lets you hunt after dark on the rifle you already have zeroed, using the reticle you already know. Its 400x300 sensor uses the same 12 micron pixel pitch as the 640 version behind a 35mm f1.0 lens, which keeps the image usable at practical hog and predator ranges.

Mounting is handled by an included Picatinny adapter, with scope specific clamps for the objective bell sold separately. Palettes, holdover reticles and video recording live in the menu and are reachable without taking your head off the stock. The rechargeable battery is removable and runs roughly five hours. At about 16.5 ounces it is a little lighter out front than the 640 model, which helps if your rifle already carries a heavy scope.
