A clip on does not replace your riflescope, it goes in front of it. Mount the 35CL-640 ahead of a day scope and the same rifle, the same zero and the same reticle keep working in complete darkness. A 640x512 sensor at 12 microns pushes the image through a 35mm f1.0 lens, so detail holds together at the ranges where you would actually take a shot at a hog.

A Picatinny adapter comes in the box for rail mounting, and scope specific adapters that clamp to the objective bell are available separately. Color palettes, reticle holdovers and video recording are handled through a short menu rather than a phone app. The rechargeable battery pulls out for a swap and runs around five hours. At roughly 17 ounces hanging out front, a solid rail and a steady rest both matter more than they do with a bare scope.
