DNT Optics Hound LRF 2-8x 640 Handheld Thermal Scanner

The Hound H635R is DNT's handheld answer to the scanning problem. A dedicated 2-8x thermal scanner with a 640 core, it lives on a lanyard or in a chest rig and keeps your rifle pointed safely down until there is a confirmed reason to raise it. The R model adds a built in laser rangefinder, so the animal you spot comes with a distance attached.

Splitting scanning from aiming is the biggest workflow upgrade in night hunting. Glass with the Hound, then move to the weapon sight for the shot instead of sweeping the whole county with a muzzle every time you check a warm spot. The 640 sensor gives it the same class of image as DNT's rifle scopes.
