Zastava Arms ZPAP85 5.56 NATO 10" 30rd Pistol

The ZPAP85 is Zastava's compact AK pistol chambered in 5.56x45 NATO, and it fires 223 Remington as well. It is the plain version of the family: a 10" cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel with a flash hider, a wood handguard and a black synthetic grip. The receiver is the dimpled 1.5mm stamped steel type with a bulged front trunnion, and the bolt carrier is hard nickel moly steel for corrosion resistance.

The top cover is hinged, the rear sight is a Krinkov style unit over a post front with dual apertures, and the safety selector has a bolt hold open notch. The muzzle is threaded M14x1 left hand. It accepts 5.56/223 AK magazines, and one 30 round magazine is included. At 6.6 lbs and 19.3" overall, it is short enough for a vehicle or a tight hallway while still running a full size rifle cartridge. Owners who want to add a brace, a different muzzle device or an optic start with a clean, simple platform here.
