Winchester Xpert SR 22 LR 16.5" 10rd Rifle

The Winchester Xpert SR is the suppressor ready version of Winchester's lightweight bolt action rimfire. The 16.5 inch button rifled barrel is threaded 1/2-28 at the muzzle and wears a knurled thread protector, and the short length keeps the rifle handy once a can is mounted. It is chambered in 22 LR with a Bentz style chamber and a recessed target crown, and it weighs about four and a half pounds.

The Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger is a three lever design with zero creep, zero take up and zero over travel, adjustable by the owner, the same idea as the trigger in the Model 70 and XPR. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, and an adjustable rear sight and ramped post front sight are included. The bolt handle is extended for easy cycling. It comes with one 10 round rotary magazine and also accepts 10/22 pattern magazines, with ambidextrous releases on the side rails and bottom tab. A short Picatinny rail under the forearm takes a bipod or accessory, and front and rear sling eyelets are molded in. It makes a quiet small game and plinking rifle and a good trainer for new shooters.
