CVA Cascade XT Rimfire 22 LR 18" 10rd Tungsten ODG Rifle

CVA took the Cascade centerfire rifle and shrank the idea down to rimfire. The Cascade XT is a bolt action 22 LR with an 18 inch fluted barrel threaded 1/2-28 at the muzzle, so a suppressor or a muzzle device goes on without a trip to a gunsmith. The barrel and receiver wear a tungsten finish, the synthetic stock is OD Green with black webbing, and the whole rifle stays light enough that carrying it around a farm or a squirrel woods never becomes a chore.

A two piece Picatinny rail comes installed on the receiver, which removes the usual scramble for the right base when you go to mount a scope. The rifle feeds from a CVA 10 round rotary magazine, and that magazine is compatible with standard 10/22 pattern magazines, so spares are available everywhere and the rifle inherits an enormous aftermarket by accident. The trigger and controls follow centerfire practice, and the layout gives a young or new shooter a rifle that handles like the deer rifle they will graduate to. Between quiet suppressed practice, small game, and high volume range work, this one earns its safe space.
